Project goals
The Business center for support and consulting services for the SME sector in the Southwest planning region has developed a Regional Program and Action plan for development and support of the business community. In it, one of the identified priorities is promotion and support for entrepreneurship in the Southwest planning region, with special emphasis on women entrepreneurship. In order to encourage unemployed women from the region to start their own business, two five-day trainings were organized, which were successfully completed by 41 women from the Kichevo and Struga micro-regions. As a final activity, a solemn ceremony was organized by awarding certificates to all participants, and the presentation of the most successful business ideas was performed. The activity is part of the project “Innovative solutions for better access to services at the local level”, funded by MLS and UNDP.
Results
– Successfully realized 2 five-day trainings;
– 41 participants successfully completed entrepreneurship trainings;
– Organized a solemn ceremony for awarding certificates;
– A manual for entrepreneurship prepared and distributed to the participants
