The directors of the eight development centers from the country, including Mirjana Lozanoska, M.Sc., from the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, signed agreements with the Minister of local self-government, Risto Penov, for financial support of operations in the current year. The activities that need to be implemented are part of the second phase of the project “Sustainable and inclusive balanced regional development”, and are primarily aimed at strengthening the capacities of human resources in the regions.
In addition, the agreements will support the holding of regional forums that increase the participation of significant and interested parties in the Regions in order to identify the necessary needs of the citizens, which would be financed through the Programs for regional development from the central state budget.
