Reconstructed street “206” in Debar put into use

Within the framework of the project “Reconstruction of the road infrastructure in order to improve the tourist offer”, the activities for the reconstruction of the street “206” in the Venec settlement in the Municipality of Debar have been completed. The ceremonial opening of the street was attended by the Minister of local self-government Mr. Zlatko Perinski, the Director of the Bureau for regional development Mr. Daut Memishi, the Director of the Center for development of the SWPR Mr. Valon Kaba and the Mayor of the Municipality of Debar, Mr. Hekuran Duka.   “The reconstruction of this street provides better conditions for the development of tourism in this region, which is known for its spa tourism, as well as improving the conditions for safer traffic movement and opportunities for the development of this settlement” – emphasized the Director of the Center for development of the SWPR, Valon Kaba.   The project, implemented by the Center for development of the SWPR, includes tamping and asphalting of the street along a length of 180m, installation of concrete curbs, and leveling of existing manholes. The total investment is 1.6 million denars, funds approved by the Program for balanced regional development of the Ministry of local self-government, i.e. the Bureau for regional development.
