Based on Article 21, item 10, 13, 14 and 15, and in connection with Article 22, item 1, line 9 of the Law on balanced regional development (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia no. 24/21 and 174/21), and based on the Decision of the Council for the development of the Southwest planning region no. 01-233/1 of 22.12.2025, the Council for the development of the Southwest planning region, announces   ANNOUNCEMENT for the selection of a member – representative from a citizens’ association in the Council for development of the Southwest planning region 1 (one) representative with a four-year mandate   The main criteria for the selection of a member-representative from associations in the Council for the Development of the South-West Planning Region are: – legal entities, applicants, to be registered for at least two years, with headquarters and operations in the area of ​​one of the nine municipalities (Vevčani, Debar, Debrca, Makedonski Brod, Kicevo, Ohrid, Plasnica, Struga, Centar Župa) within the planning region, – legal entities, applicants, in accordance with the Statute of the organization, to operate in the field of local and regional development, and – legal entities, applicants, to have implemented at least two projects in the field of local and regional development. The term of office of the member-representative of the associations in the Council for development of the Southwest planning region is 4 (four) years. The member-representative of the associations should regularly participate in the work of the sessions of the Council for development of the Southwest planning region, and is without the right to vote; The process will be carried out by a Commission, and the selection itself will be carried out by the registered candidates who meet the specified criteria. Note: The member-representative of the associations in the Council for development of the Southwest planning region will perform the function on a voluntary basis. The announcement is open for 5 (five) working days from the date of publication.
