For the planning document “Regional Waste Management Plan” (RWMP) for the Pelagonia and Southwest planning regions—which is adopted by the municipal councils within these regions—a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) must be conducted, in accordance with Article 65 of the Law on Environment.
The decision, along with the forms used to determine the need for a Strategic Environmental Assessment, is published on the websites of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MEPP) and the two respective regions. The public has the right to appeal this decision to the State Commission for Decision-Making in Administrative Procedure and Employment-Related Procedure (Second Instance) within 15 days from the date the decision is published on the website.
