Short description
The Center for development through mutual cooperation with the Municipality of Struga and the engaged economic operator worked on collecting the necessary documentation for the preparation of the Basic design and the Infrastructure design for solving the problem with wastewater on the move from n.m. Kalishta to n.m. Radozda, Struga. Namely, on this part of Lake Ohrid, the so-called “western elector” that should cover the wastewater from these settlements and take them to the main treatment plant in Vranishta.
The project envisages construction of collectors in the length of 5.2 km, 4 pumping stations and accompanying equipment. The project was presented to relevant representatives of the EU Delegation in Skopje and the Ministry of environment and physical planning in order to find opportunities for its implementation. The project is funded through a performance-based grant scheme implemented by the GIZ RED Program and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
