Project goals
The road network in the Southwest region is undeveloped, the current condition of part of the roads in the whole region is in relatively poor condition, primarily due to the damaged road surfaces and the lack of appropriate technical elements and the other part due to lack of local roads that will better connect the municipalities in the region.
The project will have a direct impact on three components:
– economical growth
– improvement of the tourist road infrastructure
– the ecological component
Results
-Improvement of the road infrastructure and reduction of fuel costs through preparation of technical documentation for roads with a total length of 33 km in 6 municipalities in the Southwest region;
-Improving the road infrastructure and increasing the opportunities for rural development by preparing technical documentation for new roads in rural areas;
-Enrichment of the tourist offer in PESR by preparation of technical documentation for construction of roads leading to attractive places.
