The purchased equipment – three electro-acoustic detectors – is given for use to 3 municipalities in the South-west planning region – Struga, Kichevo and Debar. These instruments timely identify obstacles in the water supply network, ie defects are detected quickly and easily, and thus the repair will be faster. This reduces water loss in the region and citizens will have fewer water outages. On the other hand, public utilities, will be more efficient and will save time and costs in water supply system interventions.
The main goals of the project are:
a) Procurement of instruments for detecting water loss
b) Preservation of water quality in the municipalities of the region
c) Preservation of water loss in the region
d) Quick solution of the water problem and efficient repair of defects
Location of the project in relation to the Center of the planning region The procured instruments will be available to all 13 municipalities in the region. Partners in the project All 13 municipalities from the South-west region (Struga, Ohrid, Kichevo, Debar, Makedonski Brod, Zajas, Oslomej, Drugovo, Vranestica, Plasnica, Vevchani, Debrca and Centar Zupa).
