Project Objectives
Overall Objective:
The main objective of the project is to improve the municipal infrastructure and maintain the sewage network through the procurement of a sewage cleaning machine in order to protect public health, reduce the risk of floods and ensure the long-term functionality of the system throughout the territory of the Municipality of Debrca.
Specific Objectives:
- Prevention of blockages and defects – regular and efficient cleaning will ensure the uninterrupted flow of wastewater.
- Improvement of hygiene and public health – the risk of infectious diseases and the spread of harmful substances will be reduced.
- Increasing the efficiency of the drainage system – modern technology will enable fast and high-quality maintenance of the systems.
- Protection from urban floods – preventing the accumulation of waste and reducing the risk of water overflows during heavy rainfall.
- Long-term sustainability of the infrastructure – the lifespan of the sewage system will be extended and the costs for rehabilitation and repairs will be reduced.
Results:
- Improved hygiene and public health – Reduced risk of flooding and sewage overflows, which can prevent the spread of infectious diseases and a cleaner environment with less unpleasant odors and waste accumulated in the sewers.
- Reduced infrastructure problems – Improved functioning of the sewer system, which means fewer defects, blockages and the need for expensive repairs and a longer lifespan of sewer pipes, as regular cleaning prevents the accumulation of sediment and corrosion.
