The director of the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, Mirjana Lozanoska, MSc, today in Skopje, together with the Minister of local self-government Risto Penov, signed the contract for the implementation of the investment project for the reconstruction and modernization of the Specialized Hospital for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases “Sveti Stefan” in Ohrid.
The budget of the project weighs slightly more than 23.4 million denars, and according to the calculation, the funds will be invested in a thorough reconstruction in order, first of all, to raise the level of the building’s energy efficiency. This will enable the permanent use of the capacity during the year, and an increase in the number of patients who will be included in the treatment and rehabilitation process. In addition to this component, a significant part of funds will be invested in digitalization of services, as well as the purchase of equipment for accurate diagnosis of patients.
