A new mini excavator was officially handed over in Centar Zupa, which will serve the citizens for the arrangement and maintenance of municipal streets, green areas, roads and other infrastructure projects.
With this new excavator, the municipality strives for:
- Better and more efficient maintenance of roads and streets — faster response to damage, potholes or other defects;
- Support for large projects for the arrangement of public areas — parks, public areas, green zones;
- Raising the quality of life for residents — better quality infrastructure, parking lots, streets, pedestrian zones;
- Preparedness for emergency interventions — in extreme weather conditions, landslides, floods or other unforeseen events.
The purchase of the mini excavator is part of the long-term program for the modernization and development of the infrastructure of the municipality and the Region, in order to ensure a more comfortable and safe life for all residents of our municipality. By investing in machinery such as a new excavator, we facilitate and accelerate the maintenance and development of municipal infrastructure. Such machines enable significantly more efficient implementation of construction and utility activities — from road construction to site preparation for new projects.
The project is implemented by the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, while it is financially supported by the Ministry of local self-government, from the program for reducing disparities in the Regions, and the Municipality of Centar Zupa as a partner in the project.
