New device for detecting defects in water pipes – PU Vodovod Ohrid Within the framework of the project “Strengthening the capacities of PUCs through the procurement of equipment”, PE Vodovod – Ohrid was awarded a modern device for detecting defects in water pipes, in a total value of 873,200.00 denars. The main goal of this device is to reduce the loss of drinking water through easy, fast and precise detection of defects in the water supply network. The procurement of this equipment significantly improves working conditions, enables more efficient management of the system, as well as better quality services for the citizens of the Municipality of Ohrid. At the same time, a significant reduction in drinking water losses, which currently amount to around 50%, is expected, which will contribute to a more sustainable use of water resources. The project is funded by the Bureau for Regional Development, within the framework of the balanced regional development program for 2025, and was implemented by the Center for Development of the Southwestern Planning Region. 💧 We invest in modern equipment for better, more efficient and more reliable utility services. 🌍 Let’s save drinking water – every drop is valuable.
