Project goals
Reducing the consumption of electricity and heat through replacement of windows, roof insulation and installation of external thermal facade is the main goal of the project implemented in eight public buildings in the municipalities of Struga – PS “Braka Miladinovci” and Administrative offices of the Center for development, Vevchani – kindergarten “Planinski cvet” and the House of Culture, Kichevo – Administrative building of the municipality, Centar Zupa – PS “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk” and HS “Ata”, Debrca – PS in the village Botun, Ohrid – kindergarten “Jasna Risteska – Razvigorche”.
The realization of the project activities in the three mentioned public buildings in the region significantly reduced the energy consumption, and thus the costs of these educational institutions. Also, the conditions for teaching in the mentioned schools in Struga, Centar Zupa and Debrca have been greatly improved, as well as the conditions for a more pleasant day stay of the children in the kindergartens in Ohrid and Vevchani and other public facilities covered by the project. The project is funded through the Programs for balanced regional development of the Ministry of local self-government and the Bureau for regional development for 2017.
Project results
– Procurement and installation of heating system and reconstruction of boiler room in the primary school “Braka Miladinovci” – Municipality of Struga;
– Reconstruction of the administrative offices of the Center for development of SWPR;
– Reconstruction of kindergarten “Razvigorce” in the Municipality of Ohrid;
– Replacement of old windows and doors with new PVC windows and doors in the Municipality of Kichevo;
– Reconstruction and Insulation of the roof in the Municipality of Vevchani;
– Procurement and installation of photovoltaic system in the kindergarten “Planinski cvet” – Municipality of Vevchani
– Construction of external thermal facade in the PS “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk” and HS “Ata” – Municipality of Centar Zupa;
– Reconstruction and isolation of the primary school in the Municipality of Debarca;
