Will be reconstructed streets Dame Gruev and Momcilo Jordanoski

March 17   With the beginning with work of the company Markoski K73 from Struga, as a holder of group procurement, the preparatory activities for reconstruction of Dame Gruev and part of Momcilo Jordanoski streets in Ohrid began, which will bring better traffic solutions for the residents of Hristo Uzunov and Goce Delchev, known as Baraki. It is expected that the regulation of the atmospheric waters will be performed, and the sidewalks will be reconstructed in order to ensure greater safety of the pedestrians.

– The activities in Ohrid are part of the project “Support to regional economic development through tourism, culture and other economic activities”, implemented by the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, through the Program for regional development of the Ministry of local self-government and the Bureau for regional development for 2022. For reconstruction of these streets have been provided around 18 million denars, most of the central budget, and the Municipality of Ohrid participates with part of the funds, as a partner in the project, emphasizes the manager of the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, MSc. Mirjana Lozanoska.

At the beginning of the works, which was attended by representatives of the Municipality of Ohrid, PU Niskogradba, Contractors, Supervisor and the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, the dynamics of work and activities to be implemented in order to improve communal conditions of residents in the settlements of Hristo Uzunov and Goce Delchev.

Within the project “Support to regional economic development through tourism, culture and other economic activities”, whose total value is almost 45 million denars, the streets in the old part of Struga will be reconstructed, the Tourist center “Kosta Srbakoski” in Vevchani and will be reconstructed the local road from Centar Zupa to the village Bajramovci, in the Municipality of Centar Zupa, says at the end the manager of the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, MSc. Mirjana Lozanoska.
