The Center for development of the Southwest planning region and the municipalities of Vevcani, Debar, Plasnica, Kicevo and Ohrid, with the two-day training organized by UNDP, have begun the implementation of the project for the preparation of project-technical documentation in order to improve the road and communal infrastructure in the Region. At the two-day training, a large number of experts, together with representatives of the Development Center and the municipalities, elaborated on the key elements of the project cycle in construction.
The Development Center’s project is worth approximately 4,000,000 denars and in the next period it is expected that the necessary documentation will be prepared in order to be able to carry out the reconstruction, rehabilitation and construction of the local road network in the mentioned municipalities, as well as the sewage network in Plasnica.
The project has been approved within the framework of the first cycle of grants for the preparation of technical documentation, supported by the Government of Sweden, UNDP and the Bureau for Regional Development.
