The Center for development of the Southweste planning region, within the framework of the regional project “Improved energy efficiency in public utilities and use of RES”, has completed the activities for energy efficiency of the Municipal Assembly of the Municipality of Makedonski Brod.
In the past period, in this facility, a complete reconstruction and energy efficiency of the internal walls was carried out by installing stone wool, insulation of the ceilings and floors. Within the municipal building, the Municipal Assembly of the municipality itself was also reconstructed with energy efficient measures in the floors, ceilings and walls as well as a new electrical installation.
The total value of the works is 7 million denars, of which 6 million were provided through the Bureau for regional development, while 1 million from the budget of the Municipality of Makedonski Brod. Within the framework of the same project, activities are also taking place in other municipalities, namely in the Municipality of Plasnica – reconstruction of the facade and roof of the “Yunus Emre” Primary School in the village of Lisicani, the Municipality of Kicevo – installation of 6 photovoltaic systems in 6 public buildings of 20 kW each, the Municipality of Struga – reconstruction of the “Baftjar Banushi” Primary School and the “St. Kliment Ohridski” Primary School, and in the next period, the implementation of the activity for the reconstruction of the “Said Najdeni” Primary School in the Municipality of Debar is expected to begin.
