The Center for development of the Southwest planning region, within the framework of the project “Improved energy efficiency in public utilities and use of RES”, has completed the activities for the reconstruction of the primary school “St. Kliment Ohridski” in the village of Moroista in Struga.
In the past period, the economic operator BOKOP DOO worked on the reconstruction of the external facade and replacement of the carpentry in this facility. Namely, in the part of the external facade, a new facade was made with 10 cm and 5 cm polystyrene insulation, with an area of 275 m2, i.e. 52.8 m2. In the part of the carpentry, the windows and the external door of the facility were reconstructed with new ones made of PVC, with energy characteristics, namely one double-leaf entrance door and 21 windows.
In addition to this facility in Struga, within the framework of the aforementioned project, activities have also been implemented in the municipalities of Makedonski Brod, Kichevo, Plasnica, Debarca and Vevchani, while activities are ongoing in Struga (village of Zagrachani) and Debar. The project is being implemented with funds from the Bureau for regional development through the Programs for balanced regional development.
