The annual workshop held in Ohrid on December 14 and 15 was implemented for the evaluation of the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development” – phase II, financially supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in RNM / SDC and the Government of the RNM, and implemented by the Ministry of local self-government.
At the two-day workshop, the Center for development of the Southwest planning region presented the results for 2023, through a presentation of the implemented projects and the projects that are in the process of implementation. The presentation of the successfully implemented regional projects was facilitated and narrated by the Director of the Center for development of the SWPR, MA Mirjana Lozanoska. In her presentation, she emphasized that in the year that we are leaving, Center for Development of the SWPR, has succesfully implemented about 20 activities throughout the Region, in 9 municipalities, 2 public utility companies, and two public health institutions.
On the second day of the workshop, Ms. Arberesha Vlashi, Head of the department for waste management at the Center for development of the Southwest planning region, presented the projects “Improving the conditions for health tourism with the reconstruction of the PHI Cardiology-Ohrid, procurement of equipment and digitalization” and “Reconstruction of the PHI Nephrology Struga and creating conditions for health tourism in the PHI”, which are financed through the Swiss agency for development and cooperation and the Ministry of local self-government.
