Through a debate, around 50 representatives of significant stakeholders from the Southwest planning region, at the second regional forum, held in Struga, ranked the concepts for regional projects with which the Center for development will apply to the Ministry of local self-government, i.e. the Bureau for regional development for the 2024/2025 programming period.   According to the ranking, the most votes went to the project for improving environmental conditions, which includes activities to increase the capacities of the Public utilities and fire departments through the procurement of vehicles and equipment. The project for improving local road infrastructure in eight municipalities in the Region ranked second, and the project for increasing the energy efficiency of public buildings in the municipalities by installing photovoltaic panels and preparing technical documentation for that type of project according to the needs of the municipalities in the Region ranked third.   The project concepts will soon be reviewed by the Council for development, after which the annual list of projects will be determined, with which Center for development will apply to the Ministry of local self-government, i.e. the Bureau for regional development.   It is expected that projects of regional importance will be supported in the amount of 58 million dinars, funds that will be provided from the central budget of the state from next year and 2025. – Report from the moderator from the second forum session – Записник од втората форумска сесија – List of participants – Concept proposal 1 and Cost benefit analysis – Concept proposal 2 and Cost benefit analysis – Concept proposal 3 and Cost benefit analysis
